Pros: I thought buying a monitor of refurbished was a risk.But, so far, no issues. I found I can use this as a great gaming monitor. It is not top of the line, but for a budget builder like myself. I found it awesome for the price. And the graphics with Advanced warfare and Black flag are great.

The only glitching I had was due to the graphics card and optimization of stuff etc. Once things are up to date as far as drivers and what not. I don't need a 1000 dollar monitor to have a great time playing games with high graphic content. Cons: some may be sent and will be different than others based on being a refurbished monitor. I lucked out I guess. But, new egg has always worked with me on anything so I figured I would give it a shot.
Cons, non to mention so far. Despite the cord it comes with, any adapter and a good card will be able to paly this monitor. (at least the one I ended up with) Other Thoughts: Based on other reviews. And yeah some had issues of stuff being shipped messed up and other not.
I am overall happy with a large monitor that plays pc games with great graphics and no problems. I would buy three more for around the house if I had the extra cash. Cons: Buying a refurbished monitor I guess comes with its risks.
I purchased two of these monitors at the same time. The first one I opened had no bubble wrap padding which allowed the base for the monitor to freely to move around in the box and naturally was on the same side as the exposed LCD screen. I took a picture of the packaging or lack there of since I was sure there would be an issue, but miracles happen and nothing appeared to be damaged once powered on. The second box I opened was packaged as I would expect, but didn't include a DVI cable like the other identical monitor.
I purchased these so I could work with ideally the same setup I am accustomed when working remotely across the country and didn't think to bring a DVI cable that’s needed for hooking up my docking station as I figured would come with the monitors so I had to buy it separately locally. Long story short, the monitors appear to be fine. I haven’t used or tested the speakers. I would still be leery to buy refurbished monitors in the future. Other Thoughts: Probably will buy new in the future to ideally avoid issues. Pros: This monitor is somewhat cheap, good if you are trying to stay within a budget. It has DVI-D which is a must for crisp images.
Colors and picture are decent, you get what you pay for. Cons: I received the package with almost no packing material inside the box to protect the delicate monitor.

It had two rather deep scratches that I had to buff out with mineral oil. You can still see them when the monitor is off, but they are still (barely) noticeable during use. The outer cover was also partially snapped off, but I managed to snap it back in place. Very poorly packed, I wouldn't trust Acer to pack my lunch. The monitor feels very cheap, but I suppose you get what you pay for. Other Thoughts: Overall, it feels cheap and was poorly packed, but by no means is it a terrible monitor. The picture quality is nice and is suited well for the average budget-following user.
